Rafael Núñez was president of Colombia four times, wrote the lyrics of the national anthem and drove the 1886 Constitution. He spent his last years in this white and green Antillean-style wooden house, built in 1858 in El Cabrero.
Inside you'll find his bedroom, his desk, period furniture and personal belongings, such as a handkerchief embroidered with Núñez's hair. It's a two-story house with no elevator.
Across the street is the Ermita del Cabrero, a chapel built at the request of his wife, Soledad Román, where both of them are buried. The neighborhood is a few minutes' walk from the wall, leaving on the San Diego side.
