The official IRONMAN page sets the race for November 29, 2026 and shows registration as sold out. According to the official course, the swim is in the bahía de las Ánimas, the transition is at Parque de la Marina, the bike leg leaves from the Centro de Convenciones toward the road to Barranquilla, and the run does two laps around the walled city. The finish is in front of the Torre del Reloj.
In 2025 the expo and kit pickup were at Hotel Estelar in Bocagrande, the swim exit at the Muelle de la Bodeguita and the awards at Plaza de la Aduana; the 2026 schedule hasn't been published yet. If you're coming to race or to cheer, the Centro and Getsemaní keep everything within walking distance. Expect road closures that Sunday.

The venue
The event is at Torre del Reloj (Puerta del Reloj). The main gate of Cartagena's walled city, between the Plaza de la Independencia and the Plaza de los Coches. It's a few blocks' walk from La Matuna.
