Tentative date. EPM turned the lights on November 28 in both 2024 and 2025, and turned them off on January 12 both times.

EPM hasn't announced the 2026 lighting date. In 2024 and 2025 the lights went on at the end of November and went off on January 12. The city government's official calendar does confirm the Festival de Navidad Medellín Te Quiere from November 27 to December 13, 2026.
