What data we use and why

You do not need to give us personal data to browse the guide.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, clicks on book, device type and approximate city). We use it only to see what helps in the guide and improve it. If you decline, they stay off.

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we use your data only to reply.

Your bookings

When you book, you do it directly in each hotel’s booking engine (Cloudbeds). The booking and payment details go to the hotel, not to BR Hotels, and are governed by that hotel’s and Cloudbeds’ policies.

What your browser stores

For the site to work we store in your own browser your travel dates, the places you save and whether you accepted cookies. That stays on your device and you can delete it anytime from your browser settings.

Your rights

You can access, update, correct and ask us to delete your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to the email above. If we do not answer, you can go to Colombia’s Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
