The city government published the official calendar: November 1, Ángeles Somos in the Centro Histórico; the 10th, the Desfile en Honor a los Héroes; the 11th, the formal session and the flower offering; the 12th, the Gran Desfile de Independencia along Avenida Santander (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon); the 13th and 14th, the Festival Náutico and concerts; and the 15th, the crowning of the Reinado Popular at the Centro de Convenciones.
The city government announces Juan Luis Guerra as the headliner on November 13, and on the 14th artists such as Silvestre Dangond, Nicky Jam and Ryan Castro. The week of November 10 to 15 draws the biggest crowds.

The venue
The event is at Baluarte de Santo Domingo. The Baluarte de Santo Domingo is a stretch of Cartagena's city wall facing the sea, in the historic center. Since May 2025 it has been a public space with food and cultural programming run by the Escuela Taller Cartagena de Indias.
