Alimentarte International Food Forum 2026

For the first time, the Alimentarte forum comes to Medellín. It's organized by Fundación Corazón Verde with the Basque Culinary Center, and it brings cooks, researchers and entrepreneurs from Latin America and Europe to talk about food, territory, sustainability and technology in the food industry. It closes with the final of the fourth Reto Alimentarte.

It's Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Universidad Católica Luis Amigó. Entry is free with advance registration on the official website, and in-person spots are limited.

The venue is in Laureles, a good area to stay if you're coming to the forum: there are hotels within walking distance and a restaurant scene that fits the theme.
