Salón Tropical started in Bogotá, and in April 2024 it opened a house in Getsemaní, on Calle de la Lomba. It has a patio with a mango tree and palms, and a terrace with pink chairs.
The menu is seafood and Caribbean: ceviche, whole grilled fish, shrimp risotto, tuna tartare and a seafood stew with coconut. The cocktails have a good reputation.
At night there's live music, mostly Cuban son. It's one of the neighborhood's new places with the best Google ratings.
