La Paletteria opened in late 2012 and became half the old town's ice cream stop. It's a small air-conditioned shop with a display case full of popsicles.
They come water-based, cream-based and yogurt-based, in more than 30 flavors: tamarind, coconut, passion fruit, blackberry, pistachio, Milo and Nutella, among others. They use fruit from the region.
In high season the line reaches the street, but it moves fast. It's a good way to walk the old town with a popsicle in hand.
What to see
- Fruit popsicles like tamarind, passion fruit and coconut.
- Filled cream popsicles.
Getting there
