It's one of the places in Cali where you can eat Valle cooking served at the table: sancocho de gallina (hen soup), arroz atollado, fiambre, cola endiablada, sobrebarriga a la criolla, chuleta valluna and shrimp and fish encocado. To start, aborrajado or grilled-beef empanadas; to drink, lulada or champús; for dessert, natas.

It describes itself as a Valle del Cauca food and culture project focused on sustainability and food sovereignty, and it's part of Slow Food Cali. The arroz atollado, the lulada and the aborrajado are what diners mention most. At midday it fills up and there may be a line, so it's best to get there early.

In 2026 it moved: it reopened on Monday, September 14, at the new Granada location, with a mural painted for the reopening. Cali was coming out of the August 10 earthquake, and the restaurant has been posting its schedule on Instagram since then.
