Perro Negro opened in 2017 in a basement in Provenza, at Carrera 35 #7-83. It grew out of a roaming party called Barro Fino, and from day one there was only one rule: reggaeton plays here, old and new, all night.
The place is small, dark and lit in red, and from outside you barely notice it because there's no big sign. Inside people dance packed together around the DJ booth.
In 2023 Bad Bunny and Feid released a song named after the place, and since then tourists from everywhere come to see it. Karol G and J Balvin have also been through. The brand now has locations in Miami and Madrid, but the Medellín one is still the same as always.
What to see
- The dance floor around the DJ booth.
- Old-school reggaeton mixed with the new stuff.
- The red-lit basement vibe.
