It's a protected urban area and a national cultural heritage site for its archaeological value.
It has trails for walking or jogging, four outdoor gyms, an open-air butterfly garden with more than 30 species, a hummingbird garden, a teaching plant nursery and a meliponary with stingless angelita bees. The city has recorded more than 100 types of birds on the hill.
From the top you can see a good part of the valley. It's a morning plan: it opens at 5 a.m. and lots of people go up to exercise before work.
