Melissa Marinez founded it in 2014 as her thesis project, and today it's part of the city's Afro-tourism route. It's in a San Antonio house with an open-air patio full of plants and air-conditioned dining rooms.
The menu comes from the Pacific coast: encocados (in coconut sauce) of crab, prawn, shrimp or smoked fish; la calentura, a seafood casserole with lobster tail; shrimp ceviche with green mango, arroz atollado, fried fish and sancocho. There are vegetarian options, and the cocktails are made with viche (a sugarcane spirit from the Pacific). The fish comes from fishermen in Buenaventura and Tumaco.
Two days after the August 10, 2026 earthquake, the restaurant opened its doors as a collection point to send aid to Buenaventura and Chocó. Google Maps shows normal hours.
