It's in a yellow colonial house in San Antonio, a few blocks from the chapel. Since 1996 it has served Valle-style fritanga (fried platter): chicharrón, bofe (fried lung), blood sausage, papa criolla, sweet plantain, patacón and arepa, served on a plantain leaf or as platters for two or four people.
For snacking there are aborrajados (sweet plantain fritters with cheese), marranitas (green plantain balls with pork rinds) and empanadas with ají. The most-ordered drink is lulada; there's also champús, which you can order by the pitcher, and guarapo. Customer opinions are split on prices, which some find high for the neighborhood.
It kept posting on Instagram after the August 10, 2026 earthquake, and in October 2026 it's still announcing its menu and hours.
