Orquideorama Enrique Pérez Arbeláez

It's the orchid garden of the Sociedad Vallecaucana de Orquideología, at Avenida 2 Norte #48-10. It has no fixed visiting hours: it opens for exhibitions and events.

The Orquideorama Enrique Pérez Arbeláez is a house with a garden, clay-tile kiosks and big trees on Avenida 2 Norte, next to the Parque de las Orquídeas. It's used by the Sociedad Vallecaucana de Orquideología and has stands for displaying plants, an 80-seat auditorium and a kiosk for more than 200 people.

The easiest way in is during an exhibition. The biggest is Caliorquídeas, announced for November 6 to 8 in 2026. The 2025 edition showed more than 1,000 species, and adult entry cost COP 25,000. In July 2026, for Cali's 490th anniversary, there was a free day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Outside those dates the place is rented for events, and there are growing workshops and guided group visits that you schedule with the association. We found no reports of damage from the August 2026 earthquake.

Getting there

Taxi to Avenida 2 Norte #48-10, in north Cali.
There's parking for about 50 cars inside and more at the Parque de las Orquídeas.

Tips

Go during Caliorquídeas (November 6 to 8, 2026); that's when the place is really open.
Message the association on WhatsApp before you go to find out if there's an event or guided visit.
If you want to buy orchids, bring cash; many growers sell right there.
Get there in the morning, when it's cooler and less crowded.
