La Topa Tolondra was founded by Carlos Ospina about 15 years ago. Besides being a bar, it hosts dance classes, talks, film screenings and concerts, and the walls are covered in posters and murals about the history of salsa.

It's open every day. Nights usually start at 7:00 p.m. with a Cali-style salsa class until 9:00 p.m., and then the party goes on until 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. Weeknights are less crowded and there's more room to dance.

It's on Calle 5, a few blocks up from Loma de la Cruz and San Antonio.
