Fénix Beach

Fénix sits at Punta Arena, the tip of Tierra Bomba that faces Bocagrande. The boat leaves from La Bodeguita pier in the Old City, and the crossing takes about 10 minutes according to the club.

The full day pass is COP 295,000 per person: beach lounger, towel, welcome cocktail, one main course from the menu with a soft drink, the dessert of the day and the round-trip boat. There is a pool, a volleyball court, a bar, a restaurant and a DJ on weekends.

If you only want the beach, the Basic pass is COP 195,000 and leaves out lunch, dessert and the drink. At night they set up dinners on the sand for COP 295,000: boat at 7:00 p.m., a glass of sangria, main course, dessert, a table on the beach and a bonfire. Special decoration costs extra.

What to see

• Bocagrande and the bay seen from the beach at Punta Arena.
• The sunset from the island before the last boat.
• Kayak, paddleboard, yoga and massages, listed in their experiences section.
• Dinner by a bonfire on the sand.

Getting there

• Boat from La Bodeguita pier, gate 1, in the Old City (included in the day pass and the dinner).
• Day pass departures: 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Returns: 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
• The pier tax is paid separately: COP 16,000 per person according to the club's website.

Tips

• Get to the pier 30 minutes early and bring cash for the pier tax.
• The DJ plays on weekends; if you want quiet, ask beforehand whether there is a party or event that day.
• The island dinner only runs at 7:00 p.m.; book it a few days ahead.
