San Antonio is one of Cali's oldest neighborhoods. You walk up Calle 3, and at the top of the hill is the San Antonio chapel with a park that looks out over the city. The city government describes it as a meeting place for artists, actors and craftspeople.
The streets have colorful one-story houses, murals, cafés and restaurants serving Valle del Cauca food. Museo La Tertulia was born here in 1956, in a rented house on Carrera 5.
Many walking tours of Cali end on this hill, and from here you can walk down to Loma de la Cruz or El Peñón.
