Palacio de la Cultura Rafael Uribe Uribe

The Palacio de la Cultura Rafael Uribe Uribe is the Gothic-style building with a black-and-white checkered facade and domes that you see from Plaza Botero. Today it's the home of the Instituto de Cultura y Patrimonio de Antioquia.

Inside there's a room dedicated to Rafael Uribe Uribe, the Antioquian politician and writer it's named after, and an art heritage room with works by artists from the region. You can go up to the terraces, which look out over downtown.

It's about 130 meters from Parque Berrío station, so it's easy to combine with Plaza Botero and the Museo de Antioquia, right across from it.
