- Cali streets closed to cars on Sundays (Panamericana, Prado, Corredor Verde and others; the route changes)
Every Sunday the city closes several corridors to traffic and leaves them to bikes, skates, strollers and runners. In 2026 it started in January with 58 kilometers; in February the open stretches were Panamericana, Prado, Torres de Comfandi, El Ingenio, Morichal, Sol de Oriente, Petecuy, Corredor Verde, Américas, Brisas de los Álamos, Siloé and La Fortaleza.
Besides the car-free roads, several spots set up aerorrumba (dance aerobics) stages, stationary bikes, stations for small children and one for dogs. Along the route there are stands selling juice, fruit and street food.
It was suspended after the August 10, 2026 earthquake and came back on Sunday, September 13, with the usual hours. Some Sundays it doesn't run because of elections or events; check the social media of Cali's Secretaría del Deporte y la Recreación on Saturday.
