The city government scheduled the Fiesta de la Diversidad for Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026. It celebrates the peoples, regions and traditions that live side by side in Medellín, with their music, dances and food.

In 2025 it was held at Parque de los Deseos, with more than 50 activities from 10:00 a.m. to midnight, concerts, theater, workshops and a fair with 45 local small businesses, all free.

Parque de los Deseos sits next to the Planetario, Parque Explora and the Jardín Botánico, with the Universidad metro station a block away. You can easily fill a whole day in that area.

The event is at Parque de los Deseos. Public park next to the Planetarium, about 150 meters from Universidad station (Line A). Fundación EPM runs it and offers free movies, concerts and workshops.
