The city government confirmed the Festival de Navidad Medellín Te Quiere from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, December 13, 2026, with free activities. This year's detailed program hasn't been published yet.

In 2025 it had more than 120 activities: an opening concert across the city's districts and rural townships, Christmas plazas at Pueblito Paisa and Ciudad del Río, the Calle de los Artistas at Plaza Botero, Junín and Parque Lleras, caravans through the neighborhoods, and the Desfile de Mitos y Leyendas (a parade of myths and legends) through downtown.

It runs at the same time as EPM's Christmas lights, so those weeks the city fills up with visitors. If you plan to come, book your hotel early.
