It's a nonprofit foundation started in 1991 by members of the Aeroclub del Pacífico, later joined by Fundetrén and the western Colombia vintage car club. It opened in 1999 as the Museo Nacional del Transporte and took its current name in 2010.

Two hangars hold planes from different eras, several in flying condition, like a Douglas DC-3, a T-6 Texan and a Stearman PT-17. Outside there's a steam locomotive and railcars. Inside there are also classic cars, motorcycles, an astronaut suit and a very large model railway, with trains running between mountains and buildings.

It's right next to Cali's airport, so it works as a stop before or after a flight. We found no report of damage from the August 10, 2026 earthquake, and Google Maps shows it open; before you go, confirm on WhatsApp at 311 364 3266.
